Breaking News: Dr & Mrs Myles Munroe die in air crash

Internationally renowned preacher, transformational leader and author of several motivational book, Dr Pastor Myles Munroe, along with his wife, Ruth Ann, both died yesterday in a plane crash.

The plane which had nine people on board left the Lynden Pindling International Airport and was trying to make a landing at the Grand Bahama International Airport when it crashed. Everyone on board (including the Pastor, his wife and seven others) was killed.

The late preacher was known for several powerful and thought provoking quotes, one of which was: "The greatest tragedy in life isn't death, but life without a purpose."

This picture (below, after the cut) has been circulating on BBM, Facebook and other social networks since yesterday. I don't know how recent the picture is but it scares me to think that someone would actually do this to a fellow human being. What must have possibly gone wrong? 

Was she kidnapped and tortured to death?

Charly Boy's cousin murder update: alleged killer arrested

The suspect, Richard

Suspected leader of a kidnap syndicate that abducted the Managing Director, Naija Plaza Hotel, Oguta, Imo state and a pregnant woman and killed them after collecting ransom from their relatives, has been arrested by Policemen attached to Ilemba Hausa division in Lagos.

The suspect, Chika Richard Nwabiarijie, who hails from Omoku Local Government Area of Rivers state, was arrested in a hotel around Ojo area, in the company of his wife.
26-year-old Richard, reportedly fled Rivers state to take cover in Lagos, following the arrest of other members of his gang by the Imo state Police command.

The kidnappers numbering six and clad in Military camouflage as gathered, stormed the hotel located in Oguta, on February 24, 2013, where they killed two mobile policemen attached to the hotel during exchange of fire, before abducting their victim, one Emeka Asema (Charly Boy Cousin).

Charlyboy's abducted cousin killed in Imo State

Sometime over the weekend we got the news that Charlyboy's cousin,  Emeka Emeniye, was kidnapped somewhere in Imo state. Well the sad news now is that Kidnapped Emeka has been killed by his abductors in Imo state.

Late WWE legend, Paul Bearer laid to rest

   

WWE legend Williams Moody, popularly known as Paul Bearer who died last Tuesday of blood cloth, was today laid to rest in his home state of Alabama. The funeral was held at St. Vincent Catholic church in Mobile.

Paul is survived by his parents, children, and grandchildren. Bearer worked with tons of wrestling legends including The Undertaker, Mankind, and Kane.

WWE legend Paul Bearer dies at 58

According to WWE.com, The Undertaker's spooky manager, William Moody aka Paul Bearer died yesterday night at the age of 58.

Bearer, who have turned 59 next month, joined the WWE in 1990 ... playing the role of a creepy funeral director who managed various wrestling stars ... including Undertaker, Kane, Rick Rude, Vader and Mankind. 

The details surrounding Bearer's death is still unclear, but he reportedly suffered from serious health problems over the past decade ... including morbid obesity and gallbladder issues.

Three more LASU students killed as cultists avenge Damoche's murder

                       

Following the gruesome murder of Damilola Ibrahim Olaniyan, a.k.a Damoche, by cultists at LASU (Lagos State University) on Thursday, reprisal allegedly took place that evening and reportedly continued till the following day. By the time the late musician was buried in the early hours of Saturday in Badagry, three more students, believed to be cultists, were allegedly killed in gruesome manner.

The three corpses could not be identified as of the time of going to the press, the social media were awash with gruesome photographs of corpses said to be those of rival gang members who killed the artiste.  It is believed that one of the dead cultists shot Damoche on Thursday.

But as Olaniyan was being laid to rest, members of the rival cult, are suspected to have killed him, were threatening more attacks, even after he was buried.

Kwara state Police Commissioner shot dead in Enugu

                
Kwara State Police Commissioner, Chinwike Asadu, was yesterday shot dead by unknown gunmen around 10 pm near his home in Armoji Nike area in Enugu State. The two people with him as at the time of the attack: his driver and orderly, were also shot, but not killed and are both lying critically ill at the hospital.

Two days ago, upcoming hip hop star Damoche was shot dead in Lagos State University, Ojo and was buried today. Today, another student was shot dead. Upcoming hip hop act Olaniyan Damilola popularly known as Damino Damoche was shot dead yesterday afternoon at Lagos state University, Ojo by people suspected to be cultists. Dami was shot twice. on the head and hand just after he finished writing a test at the Management of Science Faculty.

Murder Charge: Oscar Pistorius may have killed Reeve because she was pregnant

                   
A new report shows that Oscar Pistorius might have killed his model girlfriend, Reeve Steenkamp after he discovered that she was pregnant with his baby. If this report is true, it will be the latest in the string of twists sine Reeve's death on February 14th.

According to National Equirer's report on Monday, the argument was sparked by the news that Pistoruis was about to become a father. The report goes thus: 'Police believe the preg­nancy secret she revealed is what sent Pistorius over the edge and left her dead, with bullet wounds to the head, chest, pelvis and hand. Later that night, neighbors com­plained of shouting and fighting coming from the house. 

 'Police were called to in­vestigate, but it appeared to be just another lover’s spat, so nothing was done except to ask them to quiet down.' 
I guess an autopsy on her remains should be able to prove if this latest report holds any form of water, but then, police has disclosed that the result of her post-mortem will not be disclosed. #fingerscrossed

We are heart broken as we announce the passing of Chief Justus Esiri OON popularly known as the “Village Headmaster”, following a complication from Diabetes. 

Chief Justus Esiri OON, was a loving husband, father, grand father, brother, uncle and friend. An Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), The Otun Amuludun of the Source in Ile-Ife Osun State, and Veteran Nollywood Actor. 

He died in the late hours of the 19th of February 2013.  Chief Esiri, born on the 6th November 1942 hailed from Oria Abraka, Delta State. He was a strong believer in family values, and a great supporter of Nollywood.
