Breaking News: Dr & Mrs Myles Munroe die in air crash

Internationally renowned preacher, transformational leader and author of several motivational book, Dr Pastor Myles Munroe, along with his wife, Ruth Ann, both died yesterday in a plane crash.

The plane which had nine people on board left the Lynden Pindling International Airport and was trying to make a landing at the Grand Bahama International Airport when it crashed. Everyone on board (including the Pastor, his wife and seven others) was killed.

The late preacher was known for several powerful and thought provoking quotes, one of which was: "The greatest tragedy in life isn't death, but life without a purpose."

Music producer, Samklef involved in car crash

                  
Top music producer and singer Samklef, was involved in a motor accident around Anthony area, Lagos in the early hours of today. The car was damaged, but neither him nor the other occupants of the car were injured.

Multiple car crash along Aba - Port Harcourt road

Multiple car accident occurred along the Aba - Port Harcourt road this morning around 6:15. The accident which occurred at St. John Bus Stop was said to have been caused by a Conoil Tanker carrying diesel. Eyewitnesses said the tanker was coming down the hill from Garrison when it lost balance causing its content to spill on the road. The tanker was said to have been in the speed lane when it fell thereby causing incoming vehicles to loss control which then resulted crash.

Rivers State fire service took immediate control of the incident. About 8 cars are reported to be involved in the crash. Injured motorists have been rushed to the hospital and no death reported. More pix after the cut.
