The marriage of Aisha Babangida, daughtr of former president of Nigera, Ibrahin Babaginda has ended...yet again. Aisha got married to former governor of Zamfara State Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi in 2008 as his third wife and now, the pretty first daughter is in the singles market for the second time following her previous marriage to Basheer Nalado Garba in 2003.

One thing am yet to get from this her failed two marriaes is the fact that no one seem to know the actual reason for the failure of both marriages. If you ask me, I'll say she needs to be single for sometime to at least get somethings which I feel she's not getting right as a married woman cos obviously, something seem to be wrong somewhere. #justsaying

Benny Hinn remarries his former wife

Televagelist Benny Hinn has remaried his former wife and mother of his four children, Suzanne Harthern. The two initially wedded in 1979, only for Benny to divorce her 31 years later (2010) due to Suzanne's addiction to prescription drugs.

Sometime in 2012, Benny announced that he has began a reconciliation process with Suzanne. The couple remarried on March 3 2013.

Congrats to them...hope our own divorced pastors will learn a thing or two for this. #wink

In football, the season starts off with a 90minutes match, officiated by a referee, two assistants referred to as linesmen, and a fourth official who is in charge of signaling extra time and also to replace the referee incase of injury or absence. The match itself is played by two teams with eleven players on each side with three substitutions allowed each while the home and away fans cheer away in the stands. In marriage, the kickoff is referred to as the “happy hour” because you don’t need 22players with a referee and assistants to have a good game. All you need a quality king size bed maybe music if you like because sometimes your screams maybe louder than that of some forty thousand fans. Guess I have got some married people down memory lane, perhaps single people may wonder how special the marriage kickoff is, here is a clue, you may never know until you are married and for the right reasons too. So, step up your scouting skills and get yourself a Messi or Ronaldo then the world will truly be at your feet.

Some weeks ago, news filtered everywhere that Yoruba actress, Taiwo Aromokun was secretly married in London to a London-based lover, Olayemi Abimbola popularly called ‘Ogun Re’ by many in Holland. We also learnted that after the wedding, the actress took a swipe on Nigerian men living in Nigeria, stating that all they know to do is use and dumb celebs like herself and that was what prompted her to marry a man based outside the country.

Emerging gist now is that, the marriage which is few months old is at the verge of scandal as there seem to more to Ogun Re' than meet the eye. First off, according to an interview from a reliable sources in London, Ogun Re' has been in London for 13 years, but the shocking thing there, is that he doesn't have a legitimate job he does over there. In case your wondering, yes he has something doing but that will be resevered for latter as it seem to be another big story entirely.

Man tells court - I want out, my wife charmed me into marriage

An Igando Customary Court in Lagos has been asked by a civil servant, Adeyemi Jolugbo, 32, to dissolve his four-year-old marriage which he claimed he was forced into by the wife with a charm. Jolugbo told the court that he had come back to his senses and was not willing to continue in such a marriage.

According to him, his wife Bukola, was fetish and was not prepared to abandon fetish acts. The petitioner said that Bukola, 31, took him to a cleric shortly after they met in 2008, for some incantations aimed at luring him into the union. In his words: “When we got there, the cleric brought out two wooden dolls – male and female… He recited some incantations and asked me to say that I will love Bukola, marry her and listen to her forever. As I was saying this, he was tying the two dolls together with a rope… After that he told me to go and throw the two dolls in a river,” he said.

Dejo Richards' ex-wife opens up on why she packed out

A few weeks ago, I brought you the gist on Monilisa Chinda's ex-hubby, Dejo Richards, whose third marriage has crumbled (see it Here), but what we didn't talk about then was what must have led to it. Well, in a recent interview which the estranged wife granted City People, she gave insight to what made her move out.

I met Dejo on Facebook in 2009. In 2010 we became very close and started talking on the phone. I didn't know anything about him and in 2010 I was in Nigeria on holiday but we didn't get to meet. While in Nigeria I got to hear he was married to Monalisa Chinda. When I got back to the US I did Google his name and I saw the whole story about his marriage. At that point we were already very close and used to talk a lot. Due to the fact that we were very close, I asked him about what I read about him on the internet and he confessed that he was married and didn't talk about it because we didn't have the chance to talk. I asked him what he did wrong and why he was so violent to his wife. All these questions I asked because we were already very close and he started explaining how he met the lady in London and brought her back to Nigeria to become an actress. He stated that things started going wrong when she became a Globalcom ambassador and she started misbehaving. Infact he told me he was not legally married but they work together.

Actor Joseph Benjamin confirms his marriage is over

The actor has finally opened up on his relationship status in an interview on Reel Radio yesterday...

“About my marriage, it has been going through crisis which I prefer not to talk about that is why I have kept it away from the public to wave off controversies. I am no longer in my marriage; we are separated. I have two wonderful children – a ten year old daughter and a seven year old son. They are an integral part of my life; their mum and I have a very good arrangement on how to balance their lives to make sure that psychologically they are stable and unaffected by our separation.” 

Monalisa Chinda's ex-hubby's second marriage crashes

According to sources in the know, the second (or third) marriage of Segun Dejo Richards has crashed. Monalisa Chinda's ex husband remarried in January 2011 less than two years after his marriage to the actress ended due to accusations of infidelity and domestic abuse. Dejo married Louisiana - US based Lamide Richards less than a year after he met her while she was on vacation in Nigeria. Less than two years later, Lamide's friends say she's separated from Dejo and is planning to officially divorce him soon.

This would be Dejo's 3rd failed marriage as it was reported a few years back that he was married for six months before marrying Monalisa Chinda in 2004. 

Women sha! It beats my imagination as to how a woman agree to enter into marriage with a guy who already had two (2) failed marriages?

Usher Raymond - I regret getting married!

In an upcoming interview on Oprah's Next Chapter, Usher revealed that he regrets married and feels like kicking himself in the butt for doing so. This is part of what he said.

''I say kicking myself in the butt because I always feel like we weren't ready. And maybe this wasn't the time or way to do it. Part of that I think played into the demise of it.''

How wife changed her husband's cheating habit

In a recent interview, a woman recounted steps she took in curbing her husband's cheating habit. according to her, hie case was so bad that he will sometimes have his girlfriends in the car when he goes to pick his wife and children from church. At different times, she moved out of the house, but the man kept on cheating.

When asked what she did to change things in her marriage, she said:

1. Ignoring him. She stopped complaining even when he doesn't come home for days.

2. She never denied him sex even with his cheating habit though she insisted on protection which the man always obliged.

3. She kept his room and cloths clean and always prepared his meals.
