Pope Francis wants a simple apartment, not the official papal apartments

According to report from the Vatican, unlike his predecessors, Pope Francis I has disclosed that he would prefer to stay for the time being at a simple Vatican residence instead of moving into the spacious and regal papal apartments. This decision makes Pope Francis the first pope in 110 years not to live in the papal apartments which consist of more than a dozen rooms as well as quarters for staff and a terrace.

He sure does sound like a humble fellow. What's do you think might have triggered such a decision?

Don Moen, Fred Hammond, Sammie Okposo For ‘The Experience’

The Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Lagos, is gearing up to host the annual gospel musical concert, The Experience. This is even as organisers of the show-piece event have announced their readiness for this year’s edition billed to go down on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8, 2012 (ie Friday night into Saturday morning).

Billed to perform at the gospel event are popular singers including US-based Fred Hammond, Deitrick Haddon, Don Moen, Chevelle Franklyn, all of whom will be supported by their Nigerian counterparts, Wale Adenuga and Sammie Okposo. Also on the list are Mike Aremu, Micah Stampley and the Chosen Treasure group.

Pastor Tunde Bakare - All general overseers & religious leaders should go to prison

All General overseers and religious leaders must go to prison, so they can feel the Nigerian situation. Lock Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Kumuyi, myself and others up in a Nigerian prison, may be if we come out we will change and put the interest of our people first. Preaching greed is sin, we have the confidence of millions of people and continue to fail them, that must change' - Pastor Tunde Bakare.

In a way, I think he has a point... especially in light with recent 'private' properties being acquired by all these our G O's and religious leaders.

Who will be the next Mrs. Chris Okotie?

That the founder and the General Overseer of the Household of God Church, Pastor Chris Okotie packed it up with his second wife Stephanie Henshaw is no more news, just like the fact that a lot of people were caught unawares by his declaration that he was going to marry for the third time this December.
However, the announcement a couple of weeks back that the funky pastor will be getting married soon stirred some activities around his Oregun Lagos church, as some female members whose hopes were dashed when he decided to marry Stephanie four years back are currently jostling at the background to fill the vacant position of “Mrs Okotie.”
Some of the ladies who are strongly rumoured to be on this list and whom the man of God has played a prominent role in their lives include:
