Popular music star William Orioha aka 2shotz,is set to walk the aisle soon as he had his introduction ceremony with his longtime girlfriend, Precious Jones, yesterday Tuesday 9th, at the brides place in Imo State. I hear this Friday will be their court wedding in Lagos.

Popular Nigerian female comedian, Damilola Adekoya, aka Princess, is set to walk down the aisle with her longtime sweetheart, Ade, on May 8th 2013...which also happens to be the bride's birthday. Below is an extract from her recent interview with TheNet.com:

‘I’ll say we’ve known since 2005 because he’s known me since then, and he’s tried several means to get my attention. Even though it didn’t happen, he kept trying and recently, a friend introduced us and we hit it off. He’s a very quiet and private person, and someone who loves and understands what I do. Now I see, cos I have been racking my brain, thinking how on mother earth can 2face spend so much on just a wedding and how a good woman will allow her hubby spend so lavishly on an occasion that will last just one day? Don't get me wrong, I know 2face is all boxed up and all and we ladies like to be the center of all good and exotic talks, but hey, for a wedding as extravagant as that? You really have to think again.

A tiny bird tells me that all phones are currently switched off (as a sign of respect to the couple) at the ongoing 2face Idibia and Annie Maculay's wedding taking place in Dubai. All is set for the big wedding event between our own 2face and Annie, taking place tomorrow in Dubai and here is what the wedding reception venue looks like (picture above). The reception is at a 6 star-superb hotel, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which has a lovely and breathtaking view of the man-made beach.

Will bring you updates from the event tomorrow, but right now, 2face's bachelor party (Dubai version) is ongoing with lots of Naija's finest celebs helping to paint the event RED.

Gosh! I can't wait to get married o!

Details of 2face & Annie's wedding in Dubai

                       
Guys, please permit me to do a little amebo. I heard that 2face and Annie's Dubai wedding, scheduled to take place on March 22nd and 23rd will cost over N50million and that most guests leaving from Nigeria will leave the country for Dubai as from Thursday 21st March. Other things I heard about the million naira two days wedding are as follows:

Oaken Event are the planners of the occasion. Yvonne Nwosu's Vonne Couture is responsible for making the dresses for the bridesmaid. Mai Atafo will make the groomsmen dress. The wedding will hold at the Sefinah Ballroom of Jumeirah Beach Hotel with the reception at an exotic island called Royal Island Beach and guests will be conveyed their in luxury boats.

I also heard that the couple are inviting just 250 guests (only), who will be lodged in four different hotels.

Cool FM's Dotun and D'banj's kid sister, Taiwo gets engaged

Cool FM's OAP Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode finally poped the BIG question to D'banj's younger sister, Taiwo Oyebanjo this evening right there in South Africa where they are currently. Big congrats to them.

2face & Annie receives their Prado SUV gift from Gov Akpabio

After much controversy trailing the brand new Toyota Prado SUV given to 2face and Annie as wedding gift which I guess lead the couple into saying that they where going to think about either receiving the gift or... Well, the couple, 2face and Annie has actually received their brand new wedding gift from the governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio which was delivered by the state's commissioner for information, Aniekan Umanah.

Wait...there's more! The state governor has also promised to sponsor the travelling expenses of twenty (20) members of Annie's family to their Dubai wedding.

Now my question: As mouth watering as this gift is, is it actually coming from the governor's pocket or are the people of Akwa Ibom all sponsoring this wedding...indirectly?  

Enugu state governor's son, Nnamdi Chime set to wed

Enugu state governor Sullivan Chime's son, Nnamdi is set to tie the knots with his longtime sweetheart, Nneoma Atueyi, come April 2013. All is already set for their traditional wedding which will hold on Friday April 12, at the brides hometown in Nnewi, Anambra State, while the white wedding will take place the very next day, April 13th in Enugu.

Congrats to the couple. Wishing them years of marital bliss.

2face's baby mam, Sumbo Ajaba set to wed may 4th

All is set for May 4th 2013 when Sumbo, 2face's baby mama will tie the nuptial knot with David Adeoye, the senior pastor at Royal Christian Center. For me, this is an interesting union as David we learn has been married before now but his wife died sometime in 2011 and Sumbo as we all know is the mother of 2face's two sons. The couple have already had their introduction ceremony and their court marriage is scheduled to take place Thursday May 2nd, at Ikoyi registry.

Janet Jackson sometime today made a shocking revelation. Contrarily to what most people think, she is not engaged to her Arabian billionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana, but the two are OFFICIALLY married!

Below is a statement released by both Janet and Wissam:

"The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.'
