Vidication at last for the Nigerian team as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has dismissed the 36 year old Egyptian referee, Ghead Grisha, who officiated the match between Nigeria and the defending champions, Zambia. I didn't watch the full game, just saw the highlight and I quite agree that the penalty awarded the Zambians in the 85th minutes of the game was a big NO NO. I hope this serves as a lesson to other refs as the tournament progresses.
Nigeria's next match will come up on Tuesday 29th, 2013, and whoever the ref will be should better shine his eyes properly and call the shots down to the middle or ... *didn't say anything o!*
