Lithuania beats D'Tigers 72-53

The Nigerian basketball team - D'Tigers were today beated 72-53 by their Lithuanian counterpart in the ongoing London Olympic games. The Lithuanians who are ranked 5th in the world got the victory thanks to the combined efforts of Darius Songaila, Linas Kleiza and Rimantas Kaukenas who scored 12, 11 and 10 points respectively. D'Tigers will meet the US team in their next game.

Whishing them all the best in their next game.

One thing most people have not fully acknowledged is the fact that sex on it's own is an athletic sport only that like I said people have not come to see it as such. At a mojor sporting event such as the ongoing Olympics were we have various sports, sex as sport ought to be given it's own slot only that the organisers of the tournament haven't thought allocating a slot for it.

The organisers of the Olympics may not have created a specific event for it but they recognise that it is a dominant force that has to be accommodated in certain ways...no wonder 15 condoms were given to each of the 10,500 athlete in camp. It doe not really matter if you win any gold, silver or bronze cos everyone is considered a medalist when it comes free giving of the condoms.

Lindsay Lohan in a bizarre sex scene

Lindsay Lohan is reported to be extremely hesitant to shoot a steamy sex scene for her new movie 'The Canyons' last week, but recent reports have it that she quickly changed her mind...after the crew fulfilled an extremely unusual request. The scene is said to require her going topless, but she was so uncomfortable with the idea of baring her bosom in front of the set's 10-man crew, and so she asked them to strip down with her...to their boxers.

At first the crew were reluctant with the idea, but eventually obliged, stripping down and shooting the entire scene in their undies...and it all went without a hitch.

WWE stage catches fire in Cincinnati

Does anyone SMELLLLL something burning?

Yesterday, Cincinnati Fire Department had to run to the US Bank Arena after a fire broke out on the stage of last night's RAW  show. A rep of WWE revealed that the fire started due to a minor incident involving the show's pyrotechnics. The limited number of people inside the arena during the incident were successfully evacuated.

Bank driver apprehended with 19 ATM cards, N652,000

The Lagos State Police have arrested one Dare Oladunjoye, a driver with Zenith Bank for allegedly being in possession of 19 Guaranty Trust Bank ATM cards and the sum of N652,000.

According to Punch Metro, it was learnt that the suspect was using the cards to withdraw money from an ATM at Ogba branch of GTB when a security guard raised the alarm. As at the time of the suspect's arrest, it was discovered that he has already withdrawn N652,000.

Chinese children brutalized into future Olympians

For me, this is child brutality and child abuse...pure and simple! They call is intensive training for winners, but if this is what winning entails I will gladly pass. Can't begin to imagine how and why people will stoop low to making children (who are too young to even understand what must of this tournaments are all about) go through gruesome exercises just to win medals. 

Considering the recent record at the ongoing London Olympics by 16 year old swimming sensation, Ye Shiwen who broke the record of the men's event winner and judging from the picture above, one can easily say the young star clinched the gold medal based on hard work and lots of endurance. But that not withstanding, serious doping is currently gripping the London event to which she deny using any form of drug.

Cute looking Susan Ekwe is the 25-year-old daughter of popular Nollywood actor, Ignis Ekwe. During a recent interview the graduate of the Lagos State University revealed that she can act nude. D'Tigers win their first Olympic game

Yesterday Sunday July 29, 2012, the Nigerian baskekball team - D'Tigers defeated their Tunisian counterpart 60 -56 in their first game at the ongoing 2012 London Olympic games thereby making the team the first in Nigerian sporting history to win a basketball match at the Olympics. Thumbs up guys!

Nurse baths lover with acid out of jelousy

An undergraduate of University of Calabar (UNICAL) identified as Edmond Educhukwu is currently receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital after his nurse girlfriend , Dorothy Nkanu, used acid on him on suspicion of infidelity.

Although he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his right eye, face and torso are already badly damaged. The nurse girlfriend is currently in police custody. 

2012 Olympics: expected opening glitz and glamour

Anti-bomb devices presented to churches, mosques

The Nigerian army yesterday presented anti-bomb devices (vehicle stoppers) to churches and mosques in the North and the device is said to be designed to stop any vehicle from all angle and any speed. This the army explained is in line with all the recent bombings in the North with churches and mosques as usual target. They went on to explain that since most of the suicide bombers attack are being carried out with vehicles loaded with improvised explosive devices (IEDs), these vehicle stoppers disallow bombers from reaching their targets as it forces any vehicle that comes in contact with it at any speed.

2 brothers found living with decomposing body part of their brother

Festac Town in Lagos was thrown into chaos on Thursday evening as the decomposing body of a man was discovered on a duplex on B Close, House 6 of 3rd Avenue. The decomposing body we later gather was identified as the body of the sibling of two brothers allegedly living together in the duplex which was left to them by their dead parents.

Domestic servants murder boss, wife and son

Thus go the story: These three men(right) broke into the house in Walkerville, Johannesburg, South Africa, assulted and shoot dead Tony Viena (right), brutally raped and killed his wife Geraldine (right) and then went on to tie up and gagged their sobbing son - Amaro (second left) and pushed him into a bath of extremely  hot water and drowned him.

In case your wondering who they are, they all are domestic servants to the dead Tony Viena. The family gardener Patrick Petrus Radebe, 24, David Motanug,21, and their domestic servant's son. Sipho Mbele, 21 all pleaded guilty of the three charges murder and one charge of rape each.   

Now tell me, what do you think should be done to them as they were reported to have returned to their cells...laughing!

Falling container kills pedestrian in Ogun

A woman was crushed to death at Kara Bus Stop, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by a falling container after it fell from a moving trailer on Thursday morning.

The trailer was said to be heading out of Lagos when it lost one of its tyres, thereby making the driver loss control of the vehicle. The Truck landed on a female pedestrian was said to have been walking along the road in search of bus to her destination. The unidentified pedestrian was said to have died instantly.

7 year old boy beheaded for N250k

Both 25 year old John Yakubu and 30 year old Ishaya Dakulung have been arrested for beheading a 7 year old Samu Danjuma in Nasarawa State. Yakubu was said to have lured the boy to a forest with a N20 worth of bread only to beheaded and the body dumped in a stream. According to Yakubu, he then took the boy's head to  Ishaya in Abuja who promised hin N250k for a fresh human head. Dakulung was said to hand over thhe head to someone else for ritual purposes, but they ran out of luck as the duo were accosted in Abuja by men of the FCT Security Services, who swiftly moved into action following a tip-off.

Audition to commence for 'Nigeria's Got Talent'

Organisers of the  Nigeria's Got Talent has announced that audition for the event will kicked off on Tuesday July 31, 2012 and will run through to August 19, 2012. Reports have it that the audition which will take place in seven cities across the country, will be open to all Nigerians whose got talent (worth seeing) and will not be limited by age and sex, which according to the executive producer of the show Rotimi Pedro, is one criteria that puts the show ahead of all other shows.

The show which will air from July to December, has a sum of 10 million naira attached to it for whoever emerges winner.

Man kills his only son for ritual

I know the days we are in is evil, but it still amazes me when I hear or get to see what people do in other to have their way with something (especially money). I came across this story and decided to share it with you guys.

A man from Abia State killed his only son for money ritual claiming he did it because he's been receiving lots of insults from rich men around and he just can't take it no more. This he said led him into a secret cult where they demanded the life of his only son which he freely gave and also promised to even give them his six months unborn child in his wife's womb. Immediately after killing his son, things went wrong and the cult demanded for his head and out of fear, he opened up to the public.

Following the death of sudden death of John Atta Mills yesterday, the people of Ghana are not left without a president as John Dramani Mahama has been sworn in as the new president of Ghana. Mr Mahama has a degree in social psychology from the Institute of Social Sciences, Moscow. He also has keen interest in environmental affairs, particularly the issue of pollution in Africa.
