An undergraduate of University of Calabar (UNICAL) identified as Edmond Educhukwu is currently receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital after his nurse girlfriend , Dorothy Nkanu, used acid on him on suspicion of infidelity.
Although he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his right eye, face and torso are already badly damaged. The nurse girlfriend is currently in police custody.
