Low Cost Housing Estate popularly known as Jakande estate experienced tragedy yesterday as a building located within collapsed, killing two graduate sisters.
Mother of the girls who is simple identifies as Mrs. Coker happened to also be involved in the building with the girls, was brought out alive and is said to be in coma since the debris, yesterday. Also affected were flats 2, 4 and 6 of the six flat low-cost buildings built over 30 years ago.
According to eye witnesses, the collapsed building, Block M20, had started showing signs of crack and sinking for over a year now before it finally caved in around midnight, yesterday.
