Aluu4 update: Court free seven accused persons

                  
Port Harcourt Chief Magistrate yesterday freed seven of the eighteen persons standing trail for the murder of the Aluu4 victims. Those discharged includes: Endurance Edet, George Nwadei, Ekpe Daniel, Gabriel Agburum, Finebone Jeffery and Chinwo Cynthia (the only female suspect).

The remaining eleven persons will move on to face trail for the murder of Ugonna Ibuzor, Tekana Elkhana, Toku Llyod and Chidiaka Biringa.

Aluu4 update: suspects speaks out

About 13 have been arrested connection with the Aluu 4 killing.  Three of them spoke with pressmen and recounted the various roles they played in the death of the Llyod, Chidiaka, Ugonna and Tekena. David Chinasa Ugbaje (30) said a policeman joined in beating the youths; another was pleading that they be released.

Ugbaje said;

“Around 7 am, I left my house. I dressed up to go to work. On my street, I saw a crowd of people with four unclad boys, who were being led into my compound, No. 9, Royal Villa in Omuokiri-Aluu. I said what was the problem and they said the boys were armed robbers. I said that is my compound, let us go and see the person, if he is their member or let them point the particular person, who is their member they were going to look for”. Click to continue.

Aluu 4: Police arrest Coxson Lerebori Lucky

The prime suspect in the murder of the 4 Uniport students, Coxson Lerebori Lucky has been arrested. Coxson was declared wanted yesterday by the IG and the Police just confirmed his arrest. He was the one that allegedly raised the false alarm that led to the death of the boys. 21 people have been arrested so far.

The last time I wrote on the Aluu4 killing, I stated that the real gist has it that a guy was said to owe Ugonna a certain amount of money which he decided he wasn't going to pay back and in an effort to get back his money form the guy, Ugonna along with his cousin Llyod and two friends - Chidiaka and Tekena met with their untimely and horrific death. Now recent development in the story is that a certain Coxson Lelebori Lucky, aka Bright, has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police for the brutal murder of the Aluu 4.

Coxson Lelebori Lucky, aka Bright is the guy who is said to owe Ugonna money and when they approached him for the money that faithful day, instead of paying he raised a false alarm calling them thieves. The false alarm we gather was what lead to the horrific death of Ugonna Obuzor, 18, 200 Level Geology; Lloyd Toku, 19, 200 Level Civil Engineering; Tekena Elkanah, 20, a Diploma Technical student and Chiadaka Odinga, 20, 200 Level Theatre Arts.

Meanwhile, 21 other persons have been arrested in conjunction with the killing of the four boys and the IG of police has ordered an inquest into the alleged involvement of police men and have promised to bring to book any officer found involved in the killing.

Aluu4: The real reason behind their killing

Just like I pointed out in my first write up on the Aluu4 killing, lots of stories/speculations as to the reason behind the four of them being killed...in that manner. I have come across some of the stories and seriously speaking, only the one you are about reading really makes sense or even come close to relating to the situation. Let me clearly point out at this junction that all four of them: Llyod, Ugonna, Chidiaka and Tekena were no thieves as most people claim they were...probably people who encountered an unfortunate event.

If you remember, I made mention of Llyod and Ugonna (two of the four Aluu murder) were into rap music and that they both won a rap compeition organised by Silverbird not too long ago. Well, here is their single...enjoy.

Aluu 4: Ugonna while shopping in USA

This is Ugonna (one of the four Aluu victims) while on shopping in USA some years back. First thing that crossed to my mind when I came across this picture was - can a boy who obviously is well to do...goes abroad for his shopping actually steal phones and laptops for which they were accussed and murdered? And by the way, were are the stolen items?

Update on Aluu 4

If you have been following the Aluu 4 story since it came out last week and you've seen the video of that incident, then am sure you must know the face in the picture above. In case you haven't seen the video, go Here to view it.

Now back to the man in the picture above, he's alleged to be among the people that masterminded and carried out the Friday student killing in Aluu and lastest report has it that he has been apprehended by men of the Joint Task force (JTF).

Aluu killing - video

Some persons have accused me of not uploading the video of the Friday killing in Aluu community, but I just went ahead to keep posting updates on the matter without actually showing what am talking about.

I personally did not want to upload this horrific video here, but due to several demands I seem to have not much to do than to give it you guys. After viewing the video, you will understand with me why I felt the way am feeling cos am yet to get the scenes from the video off my mind. Every night, I go to bed with the thoughts of what I saw from this video and everyday (since I stumbled on it), I move around with same thoughts from the video.

Since you guys keep asking and demanding for it, here it is. Please it's strictly for those who think they can handle it o...abeg...na beg I deg beg o!

Llyod' mom - my son's death will always haunt me

In a heart wrenching interview with Punch, Mrs. Jane Toku, mother to Llyod (one of the 4 murdered students) recounts her last meeting/discussion with her son and states that her son's death with always haunt her. In the interview, Mrs. Jane expressed her shock at the crowd that stood by and watched while those four young students were butchered to death

Her story:  

Jane said, “When we got there, one of them was still breathing. He was gasping for breath, but the crowd…they were all there watching while my baby (Lloyd) was butchered. Come to my area and ask questions about my child; the child I trained. 

“Penultimate Sunday, we went to church, Salvation Ministry; that is where he worshipped. We all went together for the second service. He stayed back for the remaining service. When he came back, he started preparing to go to school. I can still see him as I talk to you. 

“He brought out a book; ‘How Faith Works’ by David Ibiyomie and he said ‘Mummy, read this book and you will know what faith is all about. By the time I come back on Friday, you will tell me what faith is all about.’

Meet the 4 victims of Aluu killing

 Unlike what some reports presented, all four victims of Friday killing at Aluu were students of University of Portharcourt. the school (UNIPORT) authority has suspended all school activities as students declears 7 days mourning period for the four victims.

The Elkanah family has disclosed that their son - Tekena has been buried in the forest according to their tradition which states that any youth that goes through the sort of barbaric experience their son went through and dies in the process will not be brought into town, but rather buried in the bush.
