Mrs. Josephine Okoye - Psquare's mom died on Wednesday at about 11pm (3am Indian time) after a heart surgery in an Indian hospital. The deceased who was said to be a devoted christian and church minister in Jos, Plateau State after a protracted battle with an undisclosed heart illness.
She had been in and out of hospital for about four months. First admitted at St. Nicholas hospital, Lagos, but was later flown to a hospital in Kolkata in India -when there where no assuring development in her health and that was were she eventually died.
Mrs. Okoye is survived by her Jos based husband, children: Ifeanyi, Henry, Jude, Lilian, Tony, Petet, Paul and Mary. She also had grand-children one of which is Cameron - son of Peter. A condolence register has been opened in her honour at P square's Omole Phase 1 residence.
