Ever since her participation in the 2007 West African Idol Competition, Jerrilyn Mulbah have kept proving her remarkable talent to the media and the world. With the release of her recent singles 'Leka', 'Molejo', Mr.DJ, and the huge response from music fans as well as the heavy rotation on stations across Nigeria, Liberia and beyond, the singer has set the pace for both contenders and new upcoming talents to emulate.
'Leka" which means 'Rock Me Baby' is a pop-highlife track produced by Dipo Abdul of KISS music. Jerrilyn explains that the song 'Leka' is a love song which talks about what goes on in our society and how young girls of this day handle situations when it comes to love.
The video of the song which saw the singer play the part of a typical African woman who find's love despite her parent's annoyance in her choice of man, was shoot in the rural areas of Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria.
The hot singer is expected to release her first albumin a matter of months. Following the release of her singles, Jerrilyn has been involved in lots of innovative projects like MTV Meets, a youth platform where young opinion makers meet with decision makers in the government and discuss different issues affecting the society.
