Plane flying to Gabon from Nigeria missing

           
 Recent report have it that a four-seater plane flying from Nigeria to Gabon via Cameroon has just gone missing.The plane, which is owned by the U.S. company Global Aviation, took off from Kano at 1800 hours yesterday en route Libreville in Gabon, where it was scheduled to arrive at 2300 hours, after a‎ stopover in Douala, Cameroon. But the plane, with only an American pilot on board is yet to make it to its destination.

The Gabon Aviation authorities say the last contact they had with the plane was when it was in Mongo which is a 2-hour flight from the Cameroonian economic capital. Search & Rescue operation has so far not yielded any result but the search operation still continues.

Cameroon’s search and rescue team have already began operation.
