Blogger's dairy: Flaws of Peter Okoye & Lola's wedding

                             
Now here is one wedding I have been meaning to talk about. First I must say that both couple look cute together and being a celebrity event, had large turn-up as expected but other than that, there's nothing more to the event.

First off, what's with the couple donning different ethnic/cultural outfit for same event? Don't get me wrong, but looking at the picture above I personally can't help but wonder why couple who are supposedly tying the knot be dressed in different cultural outfit on their BIG day? Yes I get the point that they both come from different ethnic background, but the fact that they have both decided to come together as one, I wasn't expecting to see such demarcation in FULL/CLEAR display. Sorta tells a story of somethings not been fully dealt with...yet.


                    
Again, you take a look at the so-called traditional wedding cake and one can't help but wonder what the couple and maker of the cake was thinking. I mean, it's meant to be a traditional wedding for crying out loud, but what we were presented with was nothing close to being traditional nor even one fit for a wedding event. As far as the cake is concerned, it also tells a story of people with money (no doubt) but with little or no concept. It shows that the couple don't even know what they as a couple want for themselves...as a couple!

For Heaven's sake, where is the harmony, unity, orderliness etc that we all look out to see at weddings especially in their case where they are not strangers to themselves (having had two kids together and also shared sometime with each other) Yes, someone out there might think am hating on them but this is far from that. I have nothing against either one of them, but hey, this are some of the things I personally look out for at weddings and seriously, not spotting any of them at this very wedding I couldn't help but point them out.

In all, nice/lovely looking couple. Nice outfits (excluding the mismatch). Nice and highly elaborate event, just that this is one wedding with so many flaws.
