Scrap plane spotted being towed in Lagos

                  
The gist yesterday was that a plane crash landed in Lagos, but according to NEMA  spokesperson, the plane spotted late last night/early this morning is the scrap of a plane that was evacuated from the airport last night following a Federal Government directive that all scraped aircraft should be evacuated from the airport.

I have never seen this sort of thing...or is this the way planes are been towed...through the streets? No wonder the panic. Anyways, everyone should relax as the plane was simply being towed away from the airport through the streets of Lagos. The aircraft was first spotted at Mangoro and later seen at a gas station.
