The Chairman of Ejibo Local Government Area of Lagos, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan, was last night kidnapped and according to recent development, the kidnappers have been in touch with the Bamigbetan with a demand of $1million which is about N160 million as ransom.
Reports also have it that a purported victim of the kidnapping gang was dropped off at the spot where Bamigbetan was abducted. He claimed to have been in the kidnappers' den in the last four days and his family paid N400,000 for his release. But police are suspecting the so-called victim might be part of the plot.
So, these kidnapper guys have gotten into Lagos? Can someone please tell me what Gov. Fashola and his so called men doing?
