Actress Jaimie Alexander has been seriously injured on the set of superhero movie sequelThor: The Dark World. The 28-year-old - who plays warrior goddess Lady Sif in the Marvel Studios films - has claimed that she was lucky not to be paralysed after the incident on set in London.
She tweeted: "Today I sustained a pretty horrible injury. I'm lucky I'm not paralysed. Thank you (with all of my heart) to those who've looked after me.
"Already in recovery mode and my spirits are high. I'll be back kicking ass as Lady Sif in no time! It can only get better from here on out."
