Veteran filmmaker and CEO of Top Radio, Amaka Igwe, is dead. Mrs. Amaka died last night in Enugu state after suffering an asthma attack. She was said to be working on her upcoming igbo soap with her hubby when she had the attack, was then rushed to the hospital where she died.
For those who don't know her, she was the producer and director of these all time Nollywood classics - Rattle Snake, Checkmate, Fuji House of Commotion, amongst several other interesting soaps.
Mrs Amaka Igwe, who hails from Obinagu, Enugu, had just celebrated her 21st wedding anniversary last week. Left to mourn her are her husband Charles Igwe, their 3 kids and an aged mother. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
