According to Vanguard newspaper, Mathias Nweaze, a native of Umuida, Enugu-Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area in Enugu State, has reportedly shot his wife dead. Waking up suddenly, his first thought was that it was robbers at work and so brought out his pump action, pointed it towards the direction of the generating set and without thinking, shot several times without actually knowing that it was his wife he shot dead. According to him, he realized that it was his wife when she screamed that a bullet has hit her. She was confirmed dead by doctors at New Testament Hospital were she was immediately rushed to after the incident.
Yesterday, police revealed that they have commenced investigation into the strange incident which occured around 11pm on Sunday.
The man sef na coward he should have paused a bit to be sure before releasing the bullets,,see wetin fia dey cause???
